Nature Camp 2026 | Environment Education Programme

A memorable and inspiring two-day Nature Camp was successfully organized by GRAM VIKAS PARISHAD, DNA, Nagaon (Assam) on 30th & 31st May 2026 at Hati Bondhu Camp, Chapanala, Nagaon, under the Environment Education Programme implemented by the Assam Science Technology & Environment Council (ASTEC), an initiative of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India.

The programme was further enriched by the gracious presence of Sri Devasish Sharma, IAS, District Commissioner, Nagaon, whose valuable insights on environmental conservation and sustainable development inspired the participants. The event was also honored by the presence of Sri Sirajuddin Ahmed, Chief Advisor, Gram Vikas Parishad, who emphasized the importance of community participation in protecting our natural resources and nurturing environmental responsibility among the younger generation.

Through interactive sessions, nature-based activities, and environmental awareness programmes, participants gained a deeper understanding of the need to preserve and protect our environment for future generations.

Together, we learn from nature today to build a greener and more sustainable tomorrow.
